This site is allowed to look unstable. It is not allowed to be unstable.

That means the new SHMEE PRINTS build follows a few sane rules:

• the source of truth is markdown
• the layout is component-based
• the deployment is static and cheap
• the editing flow remains human-first

A site can hiss, twitch, and stare directly into the void while still loading fast, reading cleanly, and being easy to maintain. That is the trick.

The actual posture

We are keeping the deployment rails and discarding the dead flesh attached to them.

GitHub stays. Cloudflare stays. The storefront cosplay goes in the trash.

What replaces it is something lighter, sharper, and much more honest about what it is trying to do.
